LOGICARE® electronic charting development partner, Conway Regional Medical Center, Conway, Arkansas, has
just been named to the "Most Improved" list of the Hospitals & Health Networks 100 Most Wired Hospitals
and Health Systems 2008 survey and study.
The award is given annually by Hospitals & Health Networks' magazine based upon a benchmarking study of hospitals
and health systems to identify the best information technology (IT) practices in the industry. This year Conway
Regional is the only hospital in Arkansas to receive the Most Wired award.
The results were released today in the July issue of the magazine, which is available at
www.hhnmag.com.
"This is a significant honor for Conway Regional and our Information Systems Department," said Jim Lambert, President
and CEO of Conway Regional Health System. "In addition to the significant improvements that have been made in the way
we move information through the health system, I believe this award reflects the ongoing commitment of the Board of
Directors to improving our information technology."
Rich Umbdenstock, president and CEO of the American Hospital Association said, "Health IT has shown incredible promise in helping
us improve the quality and safety of the care hospitals deliver every day. The results of the Most Wired survey confirm that today's
patient also understands the benefits of IT in improving care and improving the overall hospital experience."
